Thermoplastic Pultrusion
Continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic composites with superior impact resistance and recyclability.
Overview
Thermoplastic pultrusion is Ebert Composites' foundational technology, representing decades of innovation in continuous composite manufacturing. Unlike traditional thermoset pultrusion, thermoplastic pultrusion produces profiles that can be reshaped, welded, and recycled.
Our proprietary process enables the production of structural profiles with exceptional impact resistance, chemical resistance, and environmental durability. The thermoplastic matrix provides inherent toughness and allows for secondary forming operations impossible with thermosets.
Key innovations include our patented impregnation systems, consolidation die designs, and process control methodologies that ensure consistent, high-quality output at production speeds.
Applications
- Structural beams and profiles
